It is nothing but an inscription of four languages (Pyu, Mon, Old Burmese, and Pali) about Gubyaukgy, which formed Pyu as a significant influence on the early era of Pagan's culture. Next, drop by a lacquer workshop to observe and find out how masterpieces are made by traditional techniques.

In the evening, you will have an onboard dinner. We moor overnight in Bagan.

Day 07 Bagan (B/L/D)

How about your feelings if today we give you a full-day outing around the charming land of Bagan?

Undoubtedly, Bagan is now a center of tourism, art, and archeology in Burma. First and foremost, we shall stop at Shwezigon Pagoda - a Buddhist hallowed ground holding everyone’s belief by preserving a bone and tooth of Gautama Buddha dating from the reign of King Anawrahta.

If you want to buy some Burmese souvenirs such as wood carvings, longyi and rattan products, do not miss out on a chance to visit the typical Bagan’s local markets. After that, taking some unique photos of Thatbyinnyu Pagoda on the way returning to the ship for lunch.

Note: Pay an additional fee for Balloon tour over Bagan in the early morning (before breakfast) because it is not included in our journey.

After enjoying your lunch, pay a visit to the massive Htilominlo constructed right on the place where King Htilominlo was picked out from 5 Nadaungmya’s sons and honored with the crown prince of Pagan.

Although the mural paintings in the temple’s interior are only existed on the ceilings, Htilominlo still features the most high-end plaster carvings on the arch pediments.

Without a doubt, how can your journey be completed without discovering the top-rated temples of Bagan, Ananda? Since 1105 CE belonging the reign of King Kyanzittha, Ananda temple has still existed as one in only four surviving temples, which resembles a strong challenge against the rule of time. Interestingly, next; make an exploration of the temple’s cruciform appealing with 4-direction standing Buddhas (north, south, east, and west).

Afterwards, taking photos of beautiful corners in Dhammayan Gyi Pagoda is a superb idea. The Bagan Viewing Hill which offers us chances to indulge in the supernatural moment of sunset covering the Bagan pagodas and stupas, will be our last destination today before coming back the ship.

Enjoy dinner on board. We dock overnight at Bagan.
