On this day, our passengers get on the luxury MY Andaman Explorer at the border port of Kawthaung. After having lunch onboard, we are sure that an exploration around Kawthaung area will bring to us many interesting experiences. We sail on evening or morning tide.
This day promises to be an exciting day for everyone. We will sail to Naung Wee island where is home to a unique race - the Moken (or known as sea gypsy). This is truly a great chance to learn about their daily life and habits which are all based on the water.
After that, we move on cruising all night.
We will spend this whole day today sailing north through the archipelago. Thus, you have a lot of leisure time to enjoy the luxurious amenities onbroad of MY Andaman Explorer. Plus, we will make a stop to swim and snorkel in a very beautiful area as well as exploring ashore a magnificent island.
Today, we pay a visit to a colonial port city. In the afternoon, do not miss a chance to visit the town used to be the capital of this area - Tanintharyi (Tenasserim). A car will take you to the destination which is unfamiliar with tourists.
Under the soft and sweet sunshine, we sail to Port Maria and visit the Karen communities there. Afterwards, indulge yourself in the magnificent scenery and turquoise water of the area which is suitable for swimming and snorkeling. Then sail all night.
Lampi Marine National Park is our destinantion today. Famous for the lush mangrove forests and various bird spiecies including the appearance of the hornbill, this natural reserve is an ideal place to explore the biodiversity of the region.
Challenge yourself by taking a kayak to go upstream and deep into the mangrove forests to see many magnificent birds. Then comeback to the beach to swim or snorkel. When the sun sets, visit the Moken sea gypsy village is a great ideal.
Begin your new day with a visit to Cockscomb Island where is home to many stunning limestone caves and hidden lagoons. The island can only be reached by ship’s tenders.
In the afternoon, our ship will approach to the South Bay. This area allows you to kayak and swim in the most amazing beaches in Myanmar. Enjoy a perfect cocktail served on the beach while contemplate the splendid sunset.
In the morning, disembark from the cruise of My Andaman Explorer at Kawthaung.

We get on the ship of My Andaman Explorer at Kawthaung for delicous lunch and spend time discovering this busy port city in the afternoon.
This will be a fascinating day as we sail on the morning tide to one of the most outstanding area in Mergui Archipelago - Coxcombe Island exploring its gorgeous hidden lagoon. However, to completely enjoy some activities like swimming or kayaking here, we need to be timing for the low tide.
The journey today offers you a great opportunity to see dolphins as we cruise to Loughborough Passage. Then, we stop by Phi Lar Island to explore the unique way of life of the sea gypsy - Moken. Moreover, this is an ideal place to buy the giant lobsters that will then be served fresh for your delicious dinner.
On this day, we visit Tann Shey Island which is known as the major part forming the Lampi marine national park. Then, we go kayaking into the mangrove forest to explore its biodiversity. If lucky, you may spot some wild monkeys.

In the afternoon, we spend time visiting Port Maria in Lun Lun Island where Karen people are populated. Thus, the island is not run by the Yangon Gorvernment but the Karen National Union (KNU). The Baptist Karens here are very friendly and eager to show their church.
Furthermore, you can discover this beautiful port and its surrounding areas by taking a tender or going kayaking via bays and creeks.
Today, we moor off the Mergui (Myeik) which is well - known for a great number of beautiful colonial architectures. We will pay a visit to the house of the author Maurice Collis which is actually once the house of Siamese White. He was the private in the 17th century but became gorvernor of this area followed the order of King Siam.
We moor into the entrance of the Tavoy (Dawei) creek and move on visiting this little known which used to be important through tender.
We spend all day cruising then stop at a lovely island to swim and explore ashore.
This morning, we cruise down the river from Moulmein via the estuary at Kaikkame. And then, you will be transferred by car to Thanbyuzayat to visit the war graves first - hand. After that, we go back to Moulmein (Mawlamyaing) for lunch.
In the afternoon, we spend time exploring this colonial outpost and its highlighted sites including the churches and a magnificent wood-carved royal monastery on the hill.
Night cruise to Yangon (Rangoon)
We cruise upstream the Rangoon river to reach the city’s port to disembark at noon.

Embark on our luxury My Andaman Explorer at Yangon’s berth and enjoy your lunch on board. The ship starts to cruise in the afternoon down the Rangoon River and out to sea for the 90nm crossing to Moulmein (Mawlamyaing).

MY Andaman Explorer Policy
1. Alteration of schedule and cruise itinerary
In spite of the fact that we will do our best to assure that the announced itinerary is followed at the strictest possible level, occasionally, we might have to alter or delay the schedules and itineraries in the last minute due to the uncertainty of local weather and river conditions.
2. Change point of embarkation and disembarkation
If the cruise encounters difficulty in embarking and disembarking passengers at the scheduled points, MY Andaman Explorer will bear no extra cost of transporting to and from the embarking and disembarking place except for the case that the passengers or their agents have purchased a package tour including our land services. Any reason for altering the place of embarkation and disembarkation will not be considered a reason for terminating this contract.
3. Fuel surcharge
The fuel costs, which have been calculated basing on the average market price, are included in the announced ticket price. If the fuel price increases by more than 10%, the company will have the right to collect charge for fuel supplement equal to the amount by which the fuel price exceeds the price stated in the contract.
4. Deposit
If you book more than 65 days in advance of the departure date, you are required to make a 30% non-refundable deposit at the booking time. The remaining amount must be paid at least 65 prior to the departure.
If you book less than 65 days in advance of the departure date, you are required to make full payment of the fare within 48 hours.
* You may be required to make higher non-refundable deposits for certain special offers. Advice for these offers will be shown to you at the time of booking.
5. Cancellation by us
Under the circumstance that a cruise cannot be operated for passengers with confirmed bookings or departures because the number of occupied cabins is less than 5, MY Andaman Explorer has the rights to call off the cruise. We will notify all passengers with confirmed booking about the cancellation 30 days in advance. A substitute cruise ship (with parallel itinerary and ship type) or an alternative departure date will be proposed depending on its availability. MY Andaman Explorer will bear or compensate any extra or difference in cruise prices. If the passengers do not agree with the alternative ship or departure, we will make full refund of the deposit amounts upon the demand of the passengers. If MY Andaman Explorer makes cancellation of a cruise after a passenger has cancelled their bookings and paid cancellation charges (and deposit), we will make full refund upon the passenger’s request.
6. Cancellation by Customer
If you intend canceling your booking, you must notify us via email or fax. The applicable policy for cancellation charge will be as follows:
If you cancel 65 days or more prior to the departure, you will be charged 30% of the total price.
If you cancel 64 days or less prior to the departure, or don’t show up, you will be charged 100% of the total price.
* When calculating the refund for your cancellation, we will deduct the wire fees and credit card commissions.
7. Children Price & Extra Bed
Children under the age of 4 may share cabin with their parent(s) without extra charge. However, MY Andaman Explorer cannot ensure the availability of cots. Children over the age of 4 up to 18 get:
50% reduction from adult price for 1 adult and 1 child staying in 1 cabin
50% reduction for the child for 2 adults and 1 child staying in 2 cabins (1 cabin has no single supplement)
50% reduction for the children for 2 adults and 2 children staying in 2 cabins.
For larger family groups, the price would be calculated upon request.
8. Insurance
We highly recommend that travelers have their trip cancellation covered. In this case, travelers will be repaid the cost of air ticket and other non-refundable payments for the trip. We also advise the guests to purchase insurance for medical matters, luggage loss and delay of the trip in case of unfavorable situations. MY Andaman Explorer will not be liable for the loss of personal belongings.
9. Dietary needs
If the guests have exceptional dietary needs, they should contact with us 30 days in advance of the departure. The cruise crew will exert all possible efforts to satisfy the exceptional dietary needs and demands depending on the availability of the goods.
10. Travelers’ responsibilities
All the guests stepping on board should be responsible towards their co-travelers and the cruise crew. The guests are advised to analyze the conditions of the trip itinerary and have appropriate social conduct towards their co-travelers and crew members. They should thoroughly check all the safety requirements on board and during the trips.
